Review: The Iron Warrior by Julie Kagawa

It saddens me to write this review. When you have read a book series for so long, become so invested in it and then realise that there are no more new books to look forward to, it leaves you feeling pretty empty inside. What I love about this book is that it doesn't shy away from the fact that to win, you must also lose and that heroes will never be 100% good. I will miss hearing the tales of the Good Neighbours and their interactions with the humans they come across, though I know that if I do want to go home again, the pages are well within reach.
