In an attempt to read more classics, I borrowed this book
from my mum, worried that I would encounter the same confusion I faced when
reading Pride and Prejudice, but also excited at the prospect of becoming more
widely read. I found myself invested in the story from the first few pages,
getting annoyed at certain characters, whilst wanting the best for others. The
twists and turns found written on the pages only made me love it more and I
came away from this book feeling like I had truly enjoyed myself; something I
really wasn't expecting. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who
wants to start reading some classics or to anyone who loves a good bit of
classical drama.
