After hearing so many raving reviews from friends about this
series, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, these were not met. The style
of writing was something I would expect from a ten-year-old and whilst the
premise of the book was good, I didn't care about the characters, so when they
died, which was, again, poorly written, I wasn't fazed in the slightest. I will
not be purchasing the second book in this series.
